Analysis of the Physical Examination Results of Children Enrolled in Nursery Schools in Certain Community of Beijing from 2018 to 2022

Abstract:OBJECTIVE To analyze the physical examination results of children in Qinghe community,analyze the growth and health of children,and put forward reasonable suggestions.METHODS A retrospective analysis was performed for the results of health examination of 6 939 children enrolled in nurseries in Qinghe community from 2018 to 2022.RESULTS Among 6 939 children,there were 984 cases(14.18%)with nutritional problems,including 16 cases(0.23%)of growth retardation,33 cases(0.48%)of low boby weight,194 cases(2.80%)of emaciation,568 cases(8.19%)of overweight,173 cases(2.49%)of obesity,1 443 cases(20.80%)of dental caries,and 84 cases(1.21%)of anemia.In addition to the low body mass index,there were significant differences in the detection rates of growth retardation,wasting,overweight,obesity,dental caries,and anemia(χ2=28.20,31.12,63.79,21.88,13.92,37.06,P<0.05).The detection rates of wasting in girls were higher than those in boys,overweight and obesity was higher than that of girls,and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=4.65,6.87,9.62,P<0.05).CONCLUSION From 2018 to 2022,the overall health status of children in Qinghe Community of Haidian District of Beijing is still good,but it is necessary to pay attention to gender differences in the growth and development process,pay attention to the incidence of common diseases such as dental caries and anemia,take active countermeasures,focus on promoting scientific parenting knowledge,and improve parents'awareness,to foster parents to develop healthy habits from the neonatal period.
