Investigation on the Status Quo of Traditional Chinese Medicine Health Care Service Institutions in Hunan Province

Abstract：OBJECTIVE To understand the current situation of Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)health care service institutions in Hunan Province,and to provide data support for the sustainable development of the traditional Chinese medicine health care service industry.METHODS A questionnaire survey was conducted among 235 TCM health care institutions in 10 cities of Hunan Province by random sampling method.RESULTS Among 235 TCM health care service institutions,139 institutions were rated as qualified or above.The number of 98 TCM health care AIDS rated as excellent,good,qualified and unqualified was 16(16.3%),27(27.6%),32(32.7%)and 23(23.5%),respectively,among which the scores of equipment risk and equipment management were low.CONCLUSION The overall level of TCM health care service institutions in Hunan Province is relatively high,but there are still problems such as unreasonable structure,non-standard equipment use and management.Therefore,it is recommended that relevant departments strengthen industry supervision and strengthen supervision while raising the entry threshold.Operators should change their business philosophy,publicize the knowledge of traditional Chinese medicine health care,and pay attention to the transformation of production,university and research results.
