The Study Health Services for Children under 7 years old

Abstract：China attaches great importance to the health care of children under the age of 7,and the content of child health care services keeps pace with the times,a three-level network of maternal and child health services has been formed,with municipal-level maternal and child health-care institutions serving as the head,county(district)-level maternal and child health-care institutions as the hub,community health service centres/township health centres as the bottom of the network,and municipal-level general medical institutions and relevant scientific research and teaching institutions as technical supplements.The utilization level of health care services for children under 7 years old in the country is similar to that of other countries,showing the characteristics that the registered population is higher than the non-registered population,the urban population is higher than the rural population.In China,there are many kinds of health care institutions for children under 7 years old with different service levels.New methods have been explored for the management of common diseases such as myopia,obesity and dental caries.In the new era,the key to improve the level of child health care services is to continuously enhance the hardware facilities and human resources of child health care services in primary health care institutions,and to continuously improve the service quality of contracted family doctors.
