Abstract:OBJECTIVE To analyze the adverse pregnancy outcomes of 58 789 pregnant women with different risks of prenatal screening during mid pregnancy, and explore the correlation between mid pregnancy serological screening results and adverse pregnancy outcomes.METHODS Retrospective analysis of prenatal serological screening results in 58 789 pregnant women, comparing the incidence of adverse pregnancy outcomes between different risk groups of trisomy 21 and trisomy 18.RESULTS The overall comparison of the incidence of other chromosomal abnormalities, ultrasound structural abnormalities, and spontaneous abortion between different risk groups of trisomy 21 and trisomy 18 showed statistically significant differences(21trisomy:χ2= 388.117,9.285,10.279;18 trisomy:χ2=39.908,24.536,67.047,P<0.05).Pairwise comparison showed that the incidence of other chromosomal abnormalities and ultrasound structural abnormalities in the high-risk groups of trisomy 21 and trisomy 18 was higher than that in the low-risk group, and the differences were statistically significant. The incidence of other chromosomal abnormalities in the high-risk and critical risk groups of trisomy 18 is higher than that in the critical risk group of trisomy 21,and the difference is statistically significant(χ2=5.472,7.126,P<0.05),the incidence of ultrasound structural abnormalities in the high-risk group of trisomy 18 was higher than that in the high-risk group of trisomy 21(χ2=6.094,P<0.05)and critical risk group(χ2=8.042,P<0.05).CONCLUSION The triple screening of maternal serology during mid pregnancy not only identifies the target disease, but also has a certain predictive effect on adverse pregnancy outcomes.Combining prenatal diagnosis and ultrasound testing can reduce the occurrence of birth defects.
