Equity Analysis of Various Health Human Resource Allocation in China's Medical and Health Institutions from 2018 to 2021

Abstract:OBJECTIVE To analyze the equity of human resources allocation in China's Medical and health institutions from 2018 to 2021.METHODS Gini coefficient and Theil index analytical methods were used to evaluate the equity of health human resource allocation.RESULTS The allocation of health personnel,registered nurses,managerial personnel,technicians,pharmacists,and registered medical practitioner was absolutely equitable by population distribution,the inequitable allocation mainly comes from the differences within the region.The allocation was disparate by geographical area,the inequitable allocation mainly came from the differences between regions.Except for managerial personnel,the other 5 types of human resources were growing year by year.CONCLUSION The equity of health human resource allocation according to population distribution is better than that of geographical distribution.The government should take into account both geographical factors and population factors when allocating resources,increase the ratio of doctors to nurses,strengthen the development of managerial personnel,optimize the structure of human resources.
