Abstract：The increasing population aging has brought about changes in the health needs of the elderly.The integration of medical care and nursing care has become an important part of the construction of the current elderly care service system.Therefore,the effective connection between them should be realized to achieve service equalization,accessibility,extension and resource sharing.However,due to the unsmooth management system,unreasonable allocation of resources,non-integration of service items,inadequate security measures,and insufficient awareness of active health,the practical obstacles of linking medical care and health care have been caused.It proposes that effective connection between medical care and health care should be regarded as a positive action to promote healthy aging,management coordination and effectiveness should be regarded as an important force to promote the connection between medical care and health care,policy promotion and coordination should be regarded as the guarantee basis to promote the connection between medical care and health care,resource integration and accessibility should be regarded as the key driving force to promote the connection between medical care and health care,and medical care and health care connection should be regarded as high-quality development The effective ways of"silver economy"and other suggestions provide a policy basis for promoting the development of the connection between medical care and health care under the new system of elderly care services.
