A Study on the Homogenization of Community Medical Services in Pudong New Area and the Optimization Path

Abstract:OBJECTIVE To understand the status quo and problems of homogenisation of community medical services in Pudong New Area of Shanghai,and to provide reference for upgrading the capacity of community health services.METHODS From August to September of 2022,Zhoukang Medical Union in Pudong New Area of Shanghai was selected as the target of the survey,and a ques-tionnaire survey on homogenisation of community healthcare services was conducted Key Person Interviews.RESULTS From the per-spective of community health service centres,Chinese medicine medical services scored the highest(81.50),and examination and testing scored the lowest(52.22).From the perspective of tertiary hospitals'evaluation of the homogenisation of community health services,it was found that the overall degree of homogenisation of community health services was average(46.67%),with a higher de-gree of homogenisation in the mastery of first-aid techniques and examination and testing results,and a lower degree of diagnostic ability for eye,ear,nose,and throat,and oral diseases.From the degree of support given by medical consortia to community health service organisations,there was more expert support and less financial and equipment resource support.The degree of homogenisa-tion was low from the perspective of the degree of support from medical consortiums,tertiary hospitals gave more expert support to community health service institutions,and less support for the establishment of management standards and financial and equipment resources.CONCLUSION Community medical services in Pudong New Area of Shanghai,have initially achieved homogeneity in the diagnosis and treatment of internal and external women's and children's common diseases and multidiseases,but still need to fur-ther strengthen the protection of the management system,the sharing mechanism,the unified standard and other key aspects,so as to promote the high-quality development of community health care.
