Abstract:OBJECTIVE To compile a nutritional risk screening tool for stroke patients and test its reliability and validity,so as to provide help for clinical assessment of the potential nutritional risk of stroke patients.METHODS The nutritional risk assessment scale for stroke patients was compiled through literature review, research group discussion and Delphi expert correspondence, and then the convenience sampling method was used to select patients who were hospitalized in Anyang People's Hospital from June 2022 to April 2023 170 patients with stroke were surveyed by questionnaire, and the reliability and validity of the scale were tested.RESULTS The content validity index(S-CVI)of the nutritional risk assessment scale for stroke patients was 0.925,and the content validity index(I-CVI)of each item was 0.841~1.000.Four common factors including nutritional status, cognitive level, behavioral ability and knowledge acquisition were extracted through exploratory factor analysis, and the variance explained by them was 55.897%.The Cronbach's αcoefficient of the scale was 0.819,the Cronbach's αcoefficient of each dimension was 0.798~0.856,and the test-retest reliability was r= 0.716,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).CONCLUSION The nutritional risk assessment scale for stroke patients compiled in this study has good reliability and validity, and can comprehensively assess the nutri-tional risk of stroke patients.
