Analysis of Influenza Surveillance Results in a National Sentinel Hospital in Tianshui from 2017 to 2022

Abstract：OBJECTIVE To analyze the characteristics of influenza epidemic in Tianshui from 2017 to 2022,and provide scientific basis for formulating influenza prevention and control measures in Tianshui.METHODS The data of influenza cases and etiology surveillance in a sentinel hospital in Tianshui from 2017 to 2022 were collected by"China Influenza Surveillance Information System",and statistical analysis was carried out by descriptive epidemiology.RESULTS A total of 24 479 influenza cases were collected from 2017 to 2022,with an incidence of 1.81％.The peak of influenza cases in each year was concentrated in January and December.The proportion of influenza cases in 0～4 years old group was the highest(56.12％).A total of 4 240 influenza specimens were collected,and the positive detection rate was 8.14％,and the positive detection rate from 2020 to 2022 was lower than that from 2017 to 2019.The dominant strains alternated in each year,and the positive detection rate of different age groups had statistical significance(χ2=32.904,P＜0.05).CONCLUSION The peak of influenza in Tianshui mainly appeared in winter and spring,and the small peak epidemic appeared in summer and autumn.In the past two years,the Victoria strain of influenza was more prevalent in Tianshui,which should be paid more attention to,and the influenza surveillance of people under 15 years old should be strengthened.
