Dynamic Analysis of Premarital Medical Examination Results from 2013 to 2022 in Changning District of Shanghai

Abstract:OBJECTIVE To determine the progress of premarital examination services in Changning District over the past decade,and to explore theoretical basis for promoting the development direction of premarital examination work in the district.METHODS Based on the pre-marital examination work report of Shanghai and the internal information system of Changning Maternal and Child Health Hospital,the pre-marital examination rate,disease detection rate and disease classification in Changning District from 2013 to 2022 were retrospectively analyzed.RESULTS In the past decade,the number of registered couples in Changning District had been decreasing year by year,with an average pre-maritalcheck-uprate of 15.49%,the average disease detection rate of 4.06%,and the disease detection rate had been increasing year by year,with the proportion of diseases affecting marriage and childbirth also increasing simultaneously.The average disease detection classification was reproductive system diseases(2.49%),internal medicine diseases(0.67%),other various diseases(0.56%),infectious diseases(0.17%),genetic and congenital diseases(0.16%),and mental diseases(0.01%).CONCLUSION From 2013 to 2022,the rate of premarital check-up in Changning District is relatively low.On the one hand,it is necessary to strengthen popular science publicity and guidance,improve the professional quality of premarital check-up service personnel,and on the other hand,it is necessary to strengthen the division of labor and cooperation between civil affairs and health systems.It is suggested to provide"one-stop"services and enhance the attractiveness of premarital check up.
