Equity Analysis of Health Resource Allocation in Fujian Based on Agglomeration Degree

Abstract：OBJECTIVE To analyze the current situation of health resource distribution and allocation equity in Fujian,and provide scientific basis and suggestions for health resource planning in Fujian.METHODS Using the health resource agglomeration index,it explored the health resource allocation of nine prefecture—level cities in Fujian from two dimensions:geography and population.RESULTS There were relatively obvious differences in health resource allocation among cities in Fujian.The HRAD of each health resource in Fuzhou,Xiamen,Quanzhou,and Putian was greater than 1,and the equity of health resource allocation was higher.The HRAD of health resources in Nanping,Sanming,Ningde and Longyan were all less than 1,and the equity of health resources allocation by population was lower.The ratio of HRAD to PAD of health resources in Sanming and Longyan was greater than 1,and the equity of health resources allocation by population was higher,while the ratio of HRAD to PAD of health resources in Putian,Nanping and Ningde was less than 1,and the equity of health resources allocation by population the equity of health resources allocation by population was low.CONCLUSION There is a correlation between regional health resource allocation and regional economic development level.There are problems of regional imbalance and unreasonable structure in the allocation of health resources in Fujian,which should further adjust the tilt of regional health resource allocation,promote the rationalization of the allocation ratio of various types of medical and health resources,and optimize the structure and fairness of resource allocation.
