Epidemiological Characteristics of Pulmonary Tuberculosis in Xinzhuang Town,Minhang District,Shanghai from 2013 to 2022

Abstract：OBJECTIVE To investigate the epidemiological characteristics of tuberculosis in Xinzhuang town from 2013 to 2022,and to provide scientific basis for tuberculosis prevention and control.METHODS The data of pulmonary tuberculosis cases regis-tered and managed in Xinzhuang town from 2013 to 2022 were analyzed by descriptive method.RESULTS From 2013 to 2022,the overall registration rate of pulmonary tuberculosis patients in Xinzhuang town showed a downward trend,with an average annual reg-istration rate of 23.12/105,including 322 cases(46.20%)registered in Shanghai and 375 cases(53.80%)not registered in Shanghai.TB cases peak in September,with fewer cases occurring in February.The ratio of male to female patients was 1.66∶1.The propor-tion of pulmonary tuberculosis patients aged 18～64 years old was the highest(89.07%).The highest proportion of registered tubercu-losis patients in Shanghai population was 18～64 years old(63.98%).There was statistical significance in the distribution of pulmo-nary tuberculosis cases in different areas(F=16.924,P＜0.05).CONCLUSION From 2013 to 2022,the overall number of patients with tuberculosis in Xinzhuang town show a downward trend,and the floating population and male population were the key groups for tuberculosis prevention and control.According to the population structure and personnel distribution structure of Xinzhuang town,the prevention and control efforts were strengthened to reduce the incidence of tuberculosis in the population.
