Summary of Best Evidence for the Management of Primary Prevention of Stroke

Abstract:OBJECTIVE To search and evaluate domestic and foreign literature and summarize the best evidence of primary pre-vention and management of stroke.METHODS Evidence-based nursing methods were used to raise questions about the management of primary prevention of stroke,and domestic and foreign resource databases were systematically searched.Two researchers indepen-dently evaluated the quality of the included literatures,and the literatures meeting the criteria were extracted and summarized.RESULTS A total of 12 literatures were included,including 7 practice guidelines and 5 expert consensus articles.It summarized 26 best evidence in 9 aspects,including hypertension,abnormal glucose metabolism,dyslipidemia,atrial fibrillation,drinking and smoking,overweight and obesity,exercise,diet,prevention methods and follow-up.CONCLUSION The study summarized the primary preven-tion of stroke risk factors,and provided comprehensive,detailed and standardized health management basis for clinical nurses.
