Health Resource Allocation and Service Efficiency of Village Clinics in Hunan from 2016 to 2020

Abstract：OBJECTIVE To analyze the allocation of health resources in village health rooms in Hunan province from 2016 to 2020,to boost the reform of Hunan's medical and health system,and to promote the construction of healthy villages.METHODS De-scriptive statistics were used to analyze the allocation of health resources in village health rooms in Hunan province,and data envel-opment analysis(DEA)was used to study the efficiency of health service utilization in village health rooms.RESULTS Only in 2016,the DEA of comprehensive efficiency,pure technical efficiency,and scale efficiency were strong and effective,and the health resourc-es of village health rooms were fully utilized.The scale efficiency from 2017 to 2020 kept decreasing,and the health resources of vil-lage health rooms were not fully utilized.CONCLUSION It should rationally layout of grassroots health institutions,enrich the con-tent of medical services in village health rooms;improve the talent support system policy;optimize the allocation of human resources in rural health;stimulate the operational vitality of village health rooms;and strengthen the effective use of health resource allocation.
