Investigation and Proposing Improvement Strategy for Community Rehabilitation Center in Pudong New Area

Abstract：OBJECTIVE Overall grasp of the infrastructure and operation of the Model Community Rehabilitation Centre in Pudong New Area,Shanghai,and make targeted recommendations based on existing problems.METHODS The current situation of the community rehabilitation center in Pudong New Area was investigated by the questionnaire,the problems on the construction and operation of community rehabilitation center were collected by the key person interview method.RESULTS The first batch of exem-plary community rehabilitation centres in Pudong New Area all have a construction area of more than 300 m2 in the treatment area and a total of 207 beds.There were 200 rehabilitation staffs,including 118 rehabilitation physicians,accounting for 59.00%.Most of the rehabilitation staffs had bachelor's degree(82.50%),and their professional titles were intermediate(64.00%).All the community rehabilitation centers had joined the association of rehabilitation specialists and formed a two-way referral system channel.CONCLU-SION Through the demonstrative community rehabilitation centers,the residents could get more nearby rehabilitation services to a certain extent,but at the present stage,it is necessary to further improve the construction of rehabilitation team,enhance community publicity,strive for medical insurance reimbursement and compensation,explore the characteristics of rehabilitation services,promoting the high-quality development of community rehabilitation medical services.
