Cognitive Survey on Cervical Cancer Screening among Women of Childbearing Age in Henan and Its Influencing Factors from 2015 to 2018

Abstract:OBJECTIVE To investigate the cognition survey of cervical cancer screening among rural women of childbearing age in Henan from 2015 to 2018 and its influencing factors. METHODS 200 rural women of childbearing age who came to target hospital for treatment were selected as the target of the survey. The survey was conducted by questionnaire survey. RESULTS A total of 200 questionnaires were distributed in this survey, and 176 valid questionnaires were collected, with a recovery rate of 98.00%. 196 women of childbearing age Cervical Cancer Screening Belief Scale scored 82 to 127 points. Univariate analysis showed that the cervical cancer awareness and age, marital status, monthly income, education level, genital tract disease history, free cervical cancer screening contact history, cervical cancer mission contact history and birth times were obviously related. Multivariate analysis showed that age, monthly income, genital tract disease history, cervical cancer contact history, education level and social support level were independent factors influencing cervical cancer screening among rural women of childbearing age in Henan. CONCLUSION The recognition level of cervical cancer screening in rural women of Henan still had a lot of room for improvement. It was mainly affected by age, monthly income, history of reproductive tract disease, contact history of cervical cancer, and social support level. Clinically, interventions could be made to improve the awareness of cervical cancer screening in women of childbearing age in the region and reduce the risk of cervical cancer.
