Analysis in the Status of Sub-Health and Its Influencing Factors among Staff in Office Building Located in Changning District, Shanghai

Abstract:OBJECTIVE To understand the distribution and influencing factors of the sub-health status of the staff in office building and to provide a reasonable basis for the intervention measures. METHODS The staff, working in 10 office buildingsof the similar scale located in Changning District, Shanghai, conducted the questionnaire survey on basic situation, activities of daily living, sub-health self-evaluation table and so on. RESULTS Among 496 subjects, the overall average score of the sub-health evaluation score was (68.17 ±14.13).Only education had influence on the score. In the way of life, irregular life, more than 12 hours of work, less sleep, not eating breakfast, often drinking, a lack of exercise and sitting for a long time were increased the risk of sub-health status in this population. CONCLUSION According to the major health problems of the staff in office buildings, it needed to strengthen promulgation and education to enhance the attention on health behaviors. According to the characteristics and needs of people, it needed to use internet and the media to raise the awareness of sub-health of the staff, avoiding long periods of excessive fatigue, reasonable arrangement of work and life. It advocated to change bad habits and live a healthy lifestyle.
