An Expenditure Analysis of the Maternal and Child Health Poverty Alleviation Fund Services in China
Abstract：An expenditure analysis for hospital delivery at different health settings has been utilized in the Maternal and Child Health Poverty Alleviation Fund (MCHPAF) project. The result reveals that: (1)There is high gap of hospital service expenditure per case among county and town-ship (town) health settings; (2)Treatment fee and drug fee are the two major components contributed to the whole expenditure; (3)The extra feepaid by clients for county hospital service is higher than the ene for township(town) hospital service.
