The Histological-pathological Types and Epidemec Features of Gastric Cancer in Old Patients

Abstract：Objective:to explore the constitutional ratio of the histological-pathological types and the epidemic teatures of gastric cancer in old patients. Methods:to collect the data of the old patients' s gender, age, incidence time, the location of the cancer, pathological stages, histological types,the descriptive analysis and single-factor analysis was undertaken. Results:the patients whose age was 60 ～ 70 account for 83.2%; > 71 account for 16.8% .the gender ratio(males to females)is 2.49: 1. According to the location,the pyloric part is the most frecquent(57.9% ).In sequence, the backwards are the cardiac part and the fundus of stomach( 18.9% ), the body of stomach( 18.2 % ), all the stomach(5.0% );according to the pathological stage,the early gastric cancer account for 3.2% of all patients,the advanced cancer accounts for 97.8% ;according to the histological types, the higher and middle differentiational adenocarcinoma is the most common in all the types(45.0% );the lower differentiational adenocarcinoma is at the second place(33.7% );the mucus adenocarcinoma and the other types of the gastric cancer are at the third and the fourth place respectively;to the different age groups,different gender and different in cidence time,the constitutional ratio of the histological types and the location of the cancer thave no significant difference. Conclusions: strenthenning the prevention and controllig to gastric cancer in old patients,through screening,cencus, popularizing the preventive and controlling knowledge of gastric cancer in older population, putting the early discovery, early dignostic, early treatment into being.
