Abstract:By using Sum of Linear Weighted Average,we synthetically evaluated and analyzed the setting、configuration、personnel、management and service of village clinics of 40 poverty-stricken counties,5 western provinces in China. The result show that,as a whole, the synthetic scores of village clinics in 5 provinces are fairly close and the rates of reaching the standards are low. It is difficult to fulfill the demands of basic health service. Although there are significant differences among 5 provinces in the five evaluated items, they all are far from the basic level and problems urgently to be solved. Only by strengthening the investment to hardware and paying great attention to software, can people' s basic demands be met to the full extend, which ensure the poor people get rid off poverty and live well.
