Design and implementation of a case-based multi-and inter-disciplinary course in orthopaedic medical education

Abstract:This article analyzes the application of a novel case-based multi-and inter-disciplinary curriculum in orthopedic medical education.By integrating knowledge from disciplines such as radiology,anesthesiology and rehabilitation,and by combining teaching methods such as scenario simulation and problem-based learning(PBL),along with the assistance of virtual reality(VR)technology,this course can enhances residents'clinical decision-making abilities,and effectively overcome the limitations in traditional single-discipline teaching.It also proposes prospects for future personalized education and global collaboration.
