Abstract：Doctor-patient communication is an indispensable part of medical practice,and its quality directly affects the therapeutic effect and patient satisfaction.The Balint group,as a psychotherapy and educational tool,has been widely applied in medical education in recent years,aiming to enhance the communication skills of resident physicians.This article reviews and analyzes the existing literature to understand the theoretical basis of the Balint group and its current applications in medical education,to explore its specific implementation and mechanisms in cultivating doctor-patient communication skills,to analyze the challenges faced in the current medical education training model,and to forecast future development trends,hoping to provide references for further optimizing the standardized training of resident physicians.
