Abstract:Objective To explore the application of the BOPPS combined with DOPS teaching mode in the residents of minimally invasive laparoscopic surgery in urology, and to evaluate its effectiveness. Methods A total of 95 resident doctors rotating in the Department of Urology at the Affiliated Hospital of Xuzhou Medical University from October 2023 to March 2024 were selected as research subjects. They were randomly divided into an observation group and a control group. The observation group adopted the BOPPS combined with DOPS teaching mode, while the control group adopted the traditional teaching mode. Before the end of their rotation, the clinical operation skills of the resident doctors in both groups were evaluated, using an objective assessment scale to measure the quality of teaching. And a questionnaire survey was conducted to assess improvements in teaching quality and satisfaction. Results In the laparoscopic skills simulation training, the observation group(49.92±9.25)scored higher than the control group(41.40±11.69),with a statistically significant difference(P<0.01).The BOPPS combined with DOPS teaching mode excelled in stimulating learning interest, understanding and mastering basic knowledge, participability, and improvement of clinical operation skills, achieving high teaching satisfaction(P<0.05).Conclusion The BOPPS combined with DOPS teaching mode can enhance the actual laparoscopic clinical operation skills of resident doctors and effectively improve the quality of teaching.
