Satisfaction survey and influencing factors analysis for standardized residency training from the perspective of hospitals

Abstract:Objective To investigate the satisfaction of hospitals with the standardization of resident doctors in Pu'er City,and to analyze the implementation status of the residency training policy from multiple dimensions,so as to provide reference for connotation construction.Methods A self-made satisfaction questionnaire was used to investigate 203 subjects,including the trainees'hospital officials,heads of functional departments,department directors,colleagues and nursing staff.The questionnaire was divided into basic situation,training content and quality feedback,understanding degree,training participation and communication,training effect evaluation,comprehensive evaluation of doctors'ability after training,significance for improving the overall level of hospitals,and satisfaction evaluation of residents.Results A total of 203 valid questionnaires were collected.The hospitals'satisfaction with the work of residency training in Pu'er City was 96.55%.22.66%(46/203)of the respondents said that they had little or no understanding of the training work.53.20%(108/203)believed that there was little communication between the training base and hospitals in terms of training progress and trainees.The hospitals'satisfaction with the trainees was 93.10%(189/203).The hospitals thought that the trainees performed best in three aspects:professional knowledge(85.22%,173/203),clinical practice ability(78.82%,160/203),and clinical thinking ability(78.33%,159/203);while less well in professionalism(50.25%,102/203),collective concept and teamwork ability(59.61%,121/203),and doctor-patient communication ability(56.65%,115/203).Training content and quality feedback,training satisfaction and understanding,training participation and communication,training effect evaluation,and the significance of training to the improvement of the overall level of the hospital was the influencing factors of employers'satisfaction with living training.Conclusion The overall satisfaction of hospitals with the standardized residency training in Pu'er is high.But it is still necessary to pay attention to the establishment of a long-term communication mechanism,the enhancement of doctor-patient communication ability and teamwork ability,and the cultivation of professionalism.
