Abstract:Objective To explore the factors affecting the passing rate of the final examination in standardized residency training of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Nanjing Medical University, and to understand the homogenization of the overall residency training effect. Methods The final examination results of the residency training in our hospital from 2023 to 2024 were collected and organized.Factors that might affect the pass rate of final examination were analyzed by using the chi-square test, and the theoretical scores were comparatively analyzed by using ANOVA and t-test.Results The overall pass rate of the final examination in our hospital from 2023 to 2024 was 92.22%,of which the pass rate of the final examination in 2023 was 90.17%,and 94.25%in 2024,with an increase of 4.08%.There were no significant differences in the pass rate of the final examination by gender, age group, personnel type, years of training and education(P>0.05).Mean theoretical scores of residents with different personnel types and educational qualifications were significantly different(P<0.05)and the rest were not significantly different(P>0.05).Conclusion The overall passing rate of the final examination is relatively good in our hospital from 2023 to 2024,and the passing rates of the skills and theory examinations in 2024 are improved compared with those in 2023.But the degree of homogeneity among residents with different personnel types and academic degrees still needs to be further improved.
