Abstract:Objective To explore the theoretical basis, practical effects, and optimization pathways of the deep integration of scenario simulation and case-based teaching in the clinical training of ophthalmology residents, providing reference for curriculum reform and talent development. Methods From September 2021 to May 2024,30 physicians participating in standardized residency training at the Department of Ophthalmology,a Hospital were selected as study subjects. After stratified by the training year, they were randomly divided into an experimental group(15 participants)and a control group(15 participants). The clinical teaching content focused on the differential diagnosis of acute glaucoma, with the control group receiving traditional teaching methods and the experimental group employing scenario simulation combined with case-based teaching.Assessment outcomes were compared between the two groups. Results Compared with the control group, the experimental group showed significant improvements in theoretical assessment score[(32.00±3.00)vs.(29.00±4.00)point],clinical skill assessment score[(40.00±3.40)vs.(36.30±3.50)point],and the dimension of medical humanistic care(all P<0.05).Conclusion The integration of scenario simulation and case-based teaching can construct a"theory-practice-emotion"triad educational model for clinical training in ophthalmology.By improving resources, faculty and evaluation systems,it is possible to achieve continuous enhancement of teaching quality and broad promotion.
