Abstract:Objective To explore the application and effectiveness evaluation of scenario simulation in the standardized training of radiology residents on contrast agent adverse reaction teaching. Methods Forty-seven residents undergoing standardized training in the Radiology Department of Daping Hospital,Army Medical University, from September 2020 to August 2023,were selected. They were randomly divided into a simulation group(24 participants)and a conventional group(23 participants). In the teaching of contrast agent adverse reactions, the simulation group received scenario simulation teaching, while the conventional group received traditional classroom lectures and skill demonstration teaching. The teaching effects of the two groups were compared. Results The theoretical assessment score of the simulation group(82.75±4.19)was higher than that of the conventional group(79.83±4.77)(t=0.413,P<0.05).The skill assessment score of the simulation group(85.92±3.34)was higher than that of the conventional group(80.65±5.73)(t=0.006,P<0.01).The simulation group excelled over the conventional group in terms of consolidating theoretical knowledge, standardizing operational procedures, enhancing humanistic care, improving adaptation abilities, stimulating learning interest, improving self-learning ability, enhancing communication skills, and strengthening teamwork awareness, with statistical significance(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of scenario simulation in contrast agent adverse reaction teaching for radiology residency training can enhance residents'job competence, demonstrating good practicality and warranting widespread application in practical teaching.
