Exploration of clinical practice courses for standardized training for general practice resident physicians based on the National Basic Public Health Service Standards

Abstract:Objective To explore the construction of clinical practice courses for standardized residency training of general practice based on the"National Basic Public Health Service Standards".Methods Based on the items of the"National Basic Public Health Service Standards",the training courses were divided into three modules(theory module,case module and practice module),four stages(theoretical knowledge memory and understanding,theoretical knowledge application,case analysis,and clinical skills practice),18 series,and clinical base+primary base double tutorial system teaching,with a total of 104 class hours.The evaluation of course effectiveness adopted theoretical assessment,consultation assessment,doctor-patient communication assessment,and patient education satisfaction assessment.The evaluation of the curriculum system adopted the Kirkpatrick's Four Level Model.Results 19 general practice resident physicians participated in the course and completed 2 series:general introduction to public health,diabetes management and medical insulin injection use.The feedback on the resident physician courses suggested that the expected teaching gain was(4.82±0.67)points,the simulated training evaluation was(4.81±0.34)points,the overall satisfaction with the course was(4.71±0.52)points,and the course value evaluation was(4.43±0.48)points.Conclusion The courses revolve around the core work connotation of primary general practitioners,deeply integrating clinical knowledge with primary practice,effectively promoting the improvement of public health service capabilities and aiming to better promote the cultivation of the abilities of general practitioners.
