Abstract:Objective To explore the correlation between the training effect of trauma first-aid ability of residents and psychological stress. Methods 126 residents trained in the emergency department of the Third Hospital of Mianyang from January 2021 to July 2024 were selected prospectively. The observation group was trained by problem based-learning(PBL)teaching method, while the control group was trained by primary trauma care(PTC)teaching method. The psychological stress was measured with BSSI(beck srivastava stress inventory),and the theoretical assessment was made before and after the training. To analyze the correlation between the effect of trauma first-aid training and psychological stress. Results There were significant differences between the observation group and the control group before and after training(all P<0.05).In the observation group, there were medical technicians whose BSSI score after training was strongly correlated with the scores before training(r=0.733).The correlation between the BSSI scores of men and women and the scores of the control group after training was statistically significant(all P<0.05).There are general residents whose BSSI scores are moderately correlated with the pre-training scores of the control group(r=0.564).There are male residents(r=0.415),graduate residents(r=-0.441)and surgical residents(r=0.453)who have a moderate correlation between the BSSI score and the performance of the control group after training. Conclusion Both PBL and PTC teaching methods can achieve good training results in trauma first aid ability of residents. The effect of PTC teaching method after training has a certain correlation with gender,so we should pay attention to the psychological stress of female residents during the training of trauma first-aid ability.
