Practice and reflection on standardized residency training in a local medical institution from western China

Abstract：There are regional differences in the quality of standardized residency training in China.This article reviews and analyzes the difficulties in residency training of Guang'an people's Hospital and summarizes the reform measures in the collaborative model of medical consortium and with the teaching counterpart assistance from national medical centers.Strategies,including the establishment of professional base management posts and monthly teaching performance evaluation,the homogenization of teachers'cultivation,and the construction of a well-organized management department,would provide reference for exploring the development path of residency training in local medical institutions.
