Application effect of interactive case teaching method in standardized training of internal medicine resident physicians

Abstract：Objective To explore the application effect of interactive case teaching method in standardized training of resident physicians and provide reference for improving training quality.Methods A total of 60 internal medicine resident physicians from the Affiliated Hospital of Weifang Medical University from September 2023 to March 2024 were selected and randomly divided into experimental group and control group with 30 cases each.The experimental group adopted interactive case teaching method for training,including case preparation,case presentation,interactive discussion and tutor comments.The control group adopted traditional teaching methods.The differences in theoretical examination,clinical skills and clinical thinking ability between the two groups were compared.Results effectively improve resident physicians'theoretical knowledge level,clinical skills and clinical thinking ability,enhance training effect,and is worth promoting in standardized training of resident physicians.
