Application of flipped classroom teaching based on PDCA cycle in the lecture of department of radiology

Abstract：Objective To explore the application and effect evaluation of flipped classroom teaching based on PDCA cycle in radiology clinical lectures.Methods Twenty-seven residents who were trained in the Department of Radiology of Daping Hospital between september 2020 and september 2022 were selected as the research subjects,and each resident was trained with two flipped classroom lectures based on PDCA cycle,to compare the implementation effects of the two lectures and conduct a questionnaire survey.Results The residents had significant improvements in PowerPoint presentation creation,teaching content explanation,teaching method application and classroom effect,with statistical significance(P<0.01).Teachers'evaluation of students and students'evaluation of students were improved for the second time compared with the first time,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The self-evaluation of teaching effect showed that the residents had a high satisfaction rate in the improvement of learning interest,self-learning ability,learning efficiency,PowerPoint presentation creation,language expression ability,clinical thinking ability,teaching ability and self-confidence,among which PowerPoint presentation creation and language expression ability were particularly outstanding,and the satisfaction rate were 100%and 96.30%,respectively.Conclusion The flipped classroom teaching based on PDCA cycle has a good effect in the clinical lectures of department of radiology.
