Abstract:Objective To analyze the application effect of the dual track teaching mode of case-based learning(CBL)and problem-based learning(PBL)in the standardized training of radiology resident physicians(referred to as residency training). Methods This study used an experimental control method.125 resident physicians who received standardized training in the Imaging and Nuclear Medicine ward of the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University from May 2023 to March 2024 were randomly divided into an observation group(n=63)and a control group(n=62).The observation group was taught using a CBL-PBL dual track teaching model, while the control group was taught using traditional methods. The two groups were compared in results of examination, clinical imaging thinking,decision-making ability and satisfaction level. Results The observation group had higher scores in theoretical knowledge and skill assessment of video reading than the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05);The total score of clinical imaging thinking and decision-making ability in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The observation group scored higher than the control group in all dimensions of satisfaction with teaching effectiveness, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions The CBL-PBL dual track teaching model can effectively improve the clinical thinking and decision-making abilities of radiology residents, stimulate their interest and initiative in radiology learning, and enhance their comprehensive clinical diagnostic abilities.
