Application of Seminar combined with CBL teaching method in standardized training of residents in the department of children rehabilitation

Abstract：Objective To explore the effect of Seminar combined with case-based learning(CBL)teaching method in standardized training of residents in the department of children rehabilitation.Methods From January 2022 to December 2022,60 residents who participated in standardized training in the Department of Children Rehabilitation,Anhui Provincial Children's Hospital were randomly divided into an observation group and a control group.The observation group adopted the Seminar combined with CBL teaching method,and the control group used traditional teaching method.At the end of the training,the effects of the two teaching modes were compared through theoretical examination,skills assessment and learning feedback survey.Results The scores of theoretical examination and skill test in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(all P<0.01).The improvement of theoretical knowledge,clinical practice ability,autonomous learning ability,clinical thinking ability,teamwork ability and overall satisfaction of the observation group were higher than those of the control group(all P<0.01).Conclusion Seminar combined with CBL teaching method can effectively improve the theoretical learning ability,skill level,clinical thinking ability and satisfaction of residents,which is superior to the traditional teaching method.
