Abstract:Objective To explore the application effect of case-based learning(CBL)combined with multidisciplinary team cooperation(MDT)in the standardized training of residents in nuclear medicine. Methods In order to evaluate the effectiveness of this teaching method,we randomly divided 86 residents who rotated in the Nuclear Medicine Ddepartment of the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University into two groups for comparison:the observation group(43 people)used CBL combined with MDT teaching mode, while the control group(43 people)used traditional lecture-based learning(LBL)method. The two groups of residents were compared in terms of theoretical and skill assessment results and satisfaction with teaching methods through the examination and questionnaire survey. Results It was shown that the theoretical score(91.40±2.76)and skill score(92.26±2.70)of the observation group were significantly higher than those of the control group[(82.77±3.01)、(86.49±3.66)],respectively(all P<0.05).In the evaluation of teaching methods, the observation group was superior to the control group in eight dimensions, such as stimulating learning interest, improving self-learning ability, improving learning efficiency, enhancing knowledge mastery, broadening clinical thinking and practical ability, promoting teamwork, rationality of time arrangement and improving medical humanities(all P<0.05).It was noted that there was no significant difference between the two groups in establishing a complete knowledge system(P>0.05).Conclusion The teaching mode of CBL combined with MDT can perform well in improving the teaching quality and satisfaction of residents in nuclear medicine, and it is a teaching method worthy of popularization and application.
