Practice and reflection on teaching clinics in psychiatric medical education under the background of medical education collaboration

Abstract:Objective To explore the application and existing problems of teaching clinics in the context of medical education collaboration in the Department of Psychiatry,and to provide a scientific basis for the continuous improvement of this training model.Methods The mini-clinical evaluation exercise(mini-CEX)was used to assess and survey the satisfaction of 12 residents monthly from January 2024 to September 2024,comparing the scores from three assessments.Results There were significant differences in the scores of medical history collection,physical examination,communication skills,clinical judgment,humanistic care,organizational effectiveness and overall ability of residents before,during and after the teaching clinics,and the later the time,the higher the score(all P<0.05).Satisfaction survey results indicated that 83%of residents were very satisfied with the teaching clinics,and 17%were generally satisfied.Conclusion Teaching clinics in the context of medical education collaboration can effectively enhance the real clinical diagnosis and treatment abilities of residents,and this training model is worth promoting.
