Abstract：With the establishment of various organizations such as the National Alliance for Ideological and Political Education and the Alliance of Marxism Schools in Medical Colleges,the methods to promote the ideological and political education system were multi-dimensional.Providing resident physicians with ideological and political education,enhancing their ethical standards and cultivating proper values are important in nurturing high-quality clinical doctors for the nation's healthcare system.To integrate the ideological and political education throughout the standardized training process for resident physicians is essential.It is crucial to uphold the principle of"establishing virtue before becoming the good doctor"and to cultivate young physicians who are committed to the Party,with strong ideological values and professional skills.This has become a significant aspect of standardized training for resident physicians in the new era.We reviewed the current status and deficiencies of ideological and political education based on literature research,in order to explore the future development and progression.
