Application of multi-tutor teaching based on WeChat platform in standardized training of gastrointestinal surgery resident physicians

Abstract:Objective To explorethe application and effect of multi-tutor teaching based on WeChat Platform in standardized training for gastrointestinal surgery resident physicians.Methods 22 resident physicians who participated in residency training in the Department of Gastrointestinal Surgery at JiaXing First Hospital from May 2021 to December 2021 were selected as the observation group,and a multi-tutor teaching system based on WeChat platform was adopted on the basis of the traditional residency training teaching mode.39 resident physicians who underwent residency training in the same department from January 2020 to April 2021 were selected as the control group,and traditional residency training teaching mode was adopted for them.Theoretical and clinical skills assessment,360 degree evaluation and survey questionnaires were used to comprehensively observe the teaching effectiveness of two groups.Results The theoretical and clinical skills assessment scores,and 360 degree evaluation results of the observation group were all better than those of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P=0.018,P=0.009,P=0.013).In terms of improving clinical thinking ability,teaching satisfaction,learning motivation,understanding and application of basic theoretical knowledge,the observation group had significantly greater satisfaction than the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P=0.006,P=0.004,P=0.004,P=0.031).Conclusion Multi-tutor teaching based on WeChat platform is an effective method for residency training in gastrointestinal surgery,which can be further improved and promoted.
