Study on the application of CBL combined with scene simulation teaching method to improve the clinical skills of acupuncture in the standardized training of TCM residents

Abstract：Objective To evaluate the teaching effect of CBL combined with scene simulation teaching method in improving the clinical skills of acupuncture in the standardized training of TCM residents.Methods A total of 60 TCM physicians were randomly divided into observation group and control group,with 30 participants in each group.The observation group adopted CBL combined with scene simulation teaching method,while the control group adopted traditional teaching method.The teaching results of the two groups were evaluated by means of examination and questionnaire survey.Results The examination results showed that the scores of basic theoretical knowledge and operation skills in the observation group were higher than those in the control group,and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(all P<0.05).The results of the questionnaire survey showed that 90%of the residents in the observation group thought that CBL combined with scene simulation teaching method was very meaningful,which could improve the ability of acupuncture practice,autonomous learning,clinical thinking,medical record analysis,doctor-patient communication,organization and coordination,clinical innovation and so on.Conclusion The teaching effect of CBL combined with scene simulation teaching method is obvious,which can effectively improve the clinical skills of acupuncture in the standardized training of residents of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
