Abstract:Objective To apply three-dimensional simulation animation teaching courseware in the clinical teaching of anatomy for ophthalmic resident physicians and evaluates its teaching effectiveness. Methods A total of 30 resident physicians who received ophthalmic anatomy teaching at the standardized residency training base of Xuanwu Hospital,Capital Medical University from January 2021 to March 2024 were retrospectively observed.Among them,a total of 13 resident physicians who participated in ophthalmic anatomy teaching and training from January 2023 to March 2024 were selected as the observation group. The teaching course was conducted using ophthalmic anatomy PPT based on Three-Dimensional Simulation Animation(3 D animation)technology as the teaching courseware.A total of 17 resident physicians who participated in ophthalmic anatomy teaching and training from January 2021 to December 2022 were selected as the control group and taught using traditional teaching methods. At the end of the training, two groups of resident physicians were assessed and satisfaction survey. Results The average total exam score of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).The observation group scored higher than the control group in the tests of the eyeball, orbital anatomy, and visual pathway, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in the score of the ocular accessory anatomy test between the two groups(P>0.05).The satisfaction with the learning course in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The use of 3 D animation technology in ophthalmic anatomy teaching can effectively improve students'academic performance and satisfaction with their learning experience.
