Application of the four-step method for the teaching and training of gynecological colposcopy in standardized residency training for Traditional Chinese Medicine

Abstract：Colposcopy is an important gynecological endoscopic examination technique for screening of cervical cancer and precancerous lesions.Cultivating colposcopic technique in residents specialized in gynecology is conducive to the construction of their career competence and the improvement of clinical and scientific research levels in Standardized Chinese Medicine gynecological residency training.Jiangmen Affiliated Chinese Medicine Hospital of Jinan University developed and summarized the"four-step method",which is practical and operable for carrying out the colposcopy training,and achieved certain effectiveness.This article provides a detailed introduction to the four-step method and analyzes the significance of colposcopy training in standardized residency training for Chinese Medicine,as well as the difficulties and challenges faced in the promotion of training.
