Abstract:Objective To investigate the effect of the hybrid teaching mode combining micro class and flipped classroom on the teaching effect of dental pulpitis for residents. Methods In this study,50 resident physicians from Daping Hospital of Army Military Medical University were selected, with 25 in the observation group and 25 in the control group. The study period was from September 2020 to June 2023.The observation group adopted the mixed teaching mode of micro class combined with flipped classroom in theory teaching. The control group adopted the traditional teaching method. The theoretical knowledge and practical achievements of the two groups were compared, and the recognition and satisfaction of the observation group on the teaching mode of micro class combined with flipped classroom were observed through a questionnaire survey. Results The theoretical knowledge and practical results of the observation group were better than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The results of the questionnaire survey showed that the observation group had a high degree of recognition for the teaching mode of micro class combined with flipped classroom, but believed that it could not completely replace the traditional teaching methods. Conclusion The mixed teaching mode of micro class combined with flipped classroom is conducive to mobilizing residents'learning enthusiasm, improving classroom efficiency, providing residents with opportunities to establish structured learning methods, enabling them to actively construct new knowledge from existing knowledge, and promoting the development of residents'advanced and complex cognitive abilities. It is an effective and feasible method to improve the teaching effect of pulpitis theory. It lays a foundation for the improvement of residents'clinical ability.
