Abstract:Objective To explore the application effect of the class tutor system in the standardized training of orthopedic residents. Methods From January 2023 to August 2023,99 residents who rotated to our department were randomly divided into two groups. The observation group was supervised by the tutor system of the executive class, which was responsible for supervising rotation, assisting teaching and helping to solve life problems, while the control group followed the traditional teaching mode. The examination scores,360-degree evaluation and mental health status of residents of the two groups were compared by means of assessment and questionnaire. Results During the rotation in orthopaedics, the scores of residents in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group in terms of orthopedic theory, skill operation and case analysis(P<0.05).The results of 360-degree evaluation showed that the evaluation of residents on tutors in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, and the evaluation of tutors on residents in the observation group was higher than that in the control group. The results of GHQ-12 questionnaire showed that the average score of residents in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group, and the proportion of poor mental health in the observation group was also significantly lower than that in the control group. Conclusion The class tutor system can not only significantly improve the theoretical and clinical ability of residents, but also reduce the occurrence of bad mental health, create a more harmonious relationship between teachers and students, and ensure significant results in clinical teaching.
