Abstract:Objective To explore the application effect of whole-course disease management model in standardized residency training of oncology surgeons. Methods 46 residents who received standardized residency training in the Pancreatic and Gastric Surgery Department of Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences Cancer Hospital from February 2022 to January 2023 were divided into experimental group and control group according to the training time, with each group having 23 residents. The experimental group adopted whole-course disease management model, and the control group used the traditional teaching method. The teaching effects of different teaching methods were evaluated by theoretical basic knowledge and practical skills assessment results and by students'subjective evaluation of teaching satisfaction. Results The teaching satisfaction and effect surveys showed that the scores of experimental group were higher than those of control group(P<0.05).The scores of basic theory and case analysis of experimental group were(42.13±2.56)and(42.26±1.84),which were higher than(38.30±2.51)and(38.96±2.14)of control group(all P<0.05),respectively.There was no significant difference in clinical practice between two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Whole-course disease management model has more advantages in the standardized residency training of oncology surgeons, which can better mobilize students'enthusiasm and stimulate learning interest, and the teaching effect is more significant.
