Application effect of CBL combined with PBL in pediatric specialty residency training under the background of spiral upward teaching mode

Abstract:Objective Exploring the application effect of CBL combined with PBL teaching in the residential training of pediatric resident physicians under the background of spiral upward teaching mode.Method A total of 80 resident physicians who participated in standardized training for pediatric residents in Lu'an Hospital Affiliated to Anhui Medical University from August 2016 to August 2019 were selected as the study subjects and randomly divided into control group and observation group,with 40 in each group.The observation group adopted the method of CBL combined with PBL in spiral upward mode.The control group adopted the traditional teaching method.Before and after the training,the two groups were compared in terms of theoretical performance,clinical skill operation score and medical record writing ability.After the training,the post competency and teaching satisfaction were investigated.Results After the residential training,the scores of professional knowledge and job competence of the resident physicians in the observation group were significantly better than those in the control group;The satisfaction scores of the observation group and the satisfaction with the residential training learning and teaching mode were significantly higher than those of the control group.Conclusion The application of CBL combined with PBL teaching in the context of spiral upward teaching mode in the residential training teaching process of pediatric professional trainees can effectively improve the theoretical level and clinical practice ability of residents,enhance their comprehensive strength and better teaching satisfaction.
