Abstract:Medicine is a science of lifelong learning and continuous improvement.Medical education after graduation is an important part of the whole medical education.Recently,with the increasing of public health emergency events,the demand for the diagnosis and treatment of critical patients surges,putting more emphasis on the training of high-level ICU physicians.Nowadays,the standardized training system of resident doctors has gradually matured and being perfect,while the fellowship training of specialists is still in the preliminary stage of exploration.There are few training bases,the management and training objectives are unclear,both assessment and evaluation mechanisms are relatively homogeneous,and the ability of specialists is uneven.This paper aims to analyze the differences between fellowship training systems in China and in American,and to propose practical measures for the specialized training assessment,base training management,qualified teacher training and comprehensive ability development,so as to provide suggestions for the fellowship training of outstanding critical care physicians in China.
