Abstract:Objective To explore the application effect of case-based learning(CBL)combined with scenario simulation teaching method in the standardized training of residents in cardiothoracic surgery. Methods A total of 70 residents who rotated in the Department of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery in our hospital from July 2022 to June 2023 were selected as the research subjects. They were divided into study group and control group, with 35 residents in each group. The study group adopted CBL combined with scenario simulation teaching, while control group adopted traditional teaching. At the end of the rotation, the theoretical and operational assessments were carried out,and the results and the satisfaction of the two groups were compared.SPSS 22.0 was used for statistical analysis. Results The theoretical examination score(45.11±1.87),operational skill score(42.91±2.00)and total score(88.02±2.77)of study group were significantly higher than those of control group(39.05±2.06),(41.57±1.57)and(80.62±2.56),respectively.The differences were statistically significant(P<0.001).The teaching satisfaction of learning interest and efficiency, clinical work ability, clinical thinking ability, team writing ability and doctor-patient communication ability in study group were better than those in control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.001).Conclusion The CBL combined with scenario simulation teaching method is effective in the standardized training of residents in cardiothoracic surgery, and it is worthy of promotion.
