Abstract:Objective To explore the effectiveness of case-based learning(CBL)cooperated with mind mapping teaching in clinical practice of standardized residency training of ultrasonic doctors. Methods Sixty-six resident physicians who participated in standardized residency training in Ultrasound Department of the Third People's Hospital of Dalian from November 2019 to November 2022 were selected, and were assigned into two groups using random number table methods, each with 33 cases. The observation group received CBL cooperated with mind mapping teaching method, while the control group adopted traditional teaching method. Then the theoretical assessment results, practical skills assessment results, clinical teaching evaluation and teaching satisfaction were compared between two groups. Results The Observation group reported higher theoretical assessment scores and practical skills assessment scores compared with the control group, with statistical differences(both P<0.05).The ratings of items such as the confidence and interest in learning, the ability to access information, the clinical thinking, the independent learning and the clinical problem solving in clinical teaching evaluation of observation group were all higher than those of control group, with statistical differences(all P<0.05).The teaching satisfaction rate was 93.94%in observation group, which was higher than 75.76%in control group, with statistical difference(P<0.05).Conclusion Application of CBL cooperated with mind mapping teaching in clinical practice of standardized residency training of ultrasonic doctors can effectively improve the performance of resident physicians and the overall level of clinical teaching, which is worth promoting.
