Visual analysis of the research on the cultivation of resident dental physicians in China based on Citespace

Abstract：Objective To understand the current research status of oral resident physician talent training and grasp the focus of future research.Methods In this study,three databases of CNKI,VIP and Wanfang were used as research platforms,and 373 Chinese literature on oral resident physician talent training research fields from 2012-2022 were used as research objects.Citespace software was used to visually analyze the annual number of publications,authors,institutions,keywords,etc.Results It was found that the number of articles published in the research on dental resident talent training in China was related to the national policy.The authors and research cooperation institutions were mainly affiliated hospitals of medical colleges and universities,the regional distribution was uneven,and the core group of authors and institutional cooperation network had not yet been formed.Keywords Cluster map with the theme of"dental resident talent training"roughly presented the contents of stomatology,resident doctors,medical education,teaching mode,countermeasures,clinical service research and other sections.Training mode,professional degree,tutorial system and teaching mode were the words with high intensity in this field.In recent years,teaching mode,oral general practice,clinical teaching and so on were the hot topics of research.Conclusion With the promotion of national policies,the standardized training of residents has gradually attracted attention.However,compared with other related fields,the research on the training of dental residents still has certain development space and challenges.Future research may focus on the innovative model,teaching method,teaching evaluation and scientific research cooperation of dental resident talent training,so as to further improve the quality and effect of dental resident talent training.
