Abstract:Objective To explore the effectiveness of the multi-dimensional node-based process assessment model in standardized training of neurology residents. Methods 11 neurology residents from 2019 to 2022 were selected, among whom 7 from the 2021 and 2022 cohorts were in the observation group, who underwent the multi-dimensional node-based assessment including 10 fixed nodes;4 from the 2019 and 2020 cohorts were in the control group, who received traditional process assessment. Results The observation group showed significantly improved training outcomes. The scores for theoretical knowledge, case history collection and case analysis were significantly higher in the observation group than in the control group, with statistical significance(P<0.05).Moreover,the scores of the observation group in the national annual level test increased by 12.7%compared with the control group. Conclusion Multi-dimensional node-based assessment helps to improve mastery of specialized knowledge and enhance their clinical thinking ability, and is worth further exploration and promotion.
